Original T-Power AC Adapter for Pioneer XW-SMA4-K Wireless Speaker - Replacement Charger Power Cord - Compatible with Pioneer A4, XW-SMA, XWSMA4K Models - Perfect for Home Audio & AirPlay Streaming

The adapter is fully compatible with my Pioneer XW-SMA4 (known as A4) hi-fi speaker. However, the adapter is not as powerful as the genuine adapter that came with the A4. In fact the power supply is also compatible with the smaller and less powerful Pioneer A3. Does it make a difference in real life? I guess that if I don't push it to the limit, the A4 and Power adapter work okay Together. On the plus side, the power adapter seems well built, and is a three way plug unit (3 pin + and - and ground north-american plug) rather than a two way (+ and - only) plug. Is it more stable, maybe, i'm no electrician. But at full power without sound the Pioneer A4 has less "hum static" with the three way plug. So I guess that this adapter makes the amp integrated in the A4 emit less noise, which is good, but is also makes the A4 a bit less powerful in its absolute maximum output. So I give it a 4 star.
