The side buttons are easy to use and it's really easy to select the station you want to broadcast on using the knob. At times there's a little buzz if audio is maxed but the overall quality is great. I bought another for my wife's carVery very staticy Not clear for me now it's explained to me that it's a technical problem like the frequency has to match, not Product problems, so the seller actually reached out to me and I was able to receive a different product more suitable for me free of charge. So 5 stars because they accomodate for sure...It’s what I had been looking for as a gift to my dad … works great and the price is goodI wanted this for the handsfree calling option in my car that doesn't have bluetooth. It works as expected. Also having my own music come through the car speaker is a feature I wanted and it works great as well.This is an amazing Bluetooth with an amazing sound quality and ease to use.Very simple to set up and use. Music comes in very clear. I havent yet tried the Bluetooth yet.This car FM transmitter is great for older vehicles that do not have an Aux jack nor Bluetooth connectivity to the car’s speaker system. This allows you to connect your phone wirelessly to the vehicle’s audio system so you can listen to music and make/receive hands free calls.The unit is packed with useful features such as a display showing the FM frequency, the car battery voltage, two USB charging ports that supports fast charging, a USB-C charging port, and decorative rim lighting that can be set to several different colours or be turned off. It’s nice that it does not require batteries as it draws power from the cigarette lighter.Another useful function is on one of the usb port (blue one) you can plug in a flash drive loaded with music and play the music straight from it. The Bluetooth pairing was quick.It should be noted that sound loudness is reduced when coming from your phone as you will lose two levels of sound volume. First you lose one level of sound from the Bluetooth transmitting the signal from your phone to the transmitter, then you lose another level via the FM signal going from the transmitter to the radio. You just need to turn up the transmitter’s volume as well as turn up the car audio volume to compensate.Also, playing music was quite good but hands-free phone calls was a bit jerky.One thing I wish this unit has when listening to music via a plugged in flash drive is the ability to shuffle the music so it plays randomly, but the unit can’t do this and just plays the songs sequentially as stored in the drive. Also you can’t fast forward a song but you can skip to the next song. So if you prefer full control of your music, then you would need to play it from your phone via the Bluetooth and FM.Overall, it’s a handy item to have in your car as even though it does not have all the control functions, it allows you the ability to listen to music from your phone, flash drive, and also act as a charger for your electronic devices, especially if you have an older vehicle that lacks BT and Aux connectivity. Good value for the price.PROs:- No cables to connect to the AUX input.- No batteries to charge.- Clear transmission, but you need to experiment and find a quiet FM frequency.- My Pixel 6 phone reports "Charging Rapidly" when connected to the USB-C port.- The rim light can be turned off.- Pretty intuitive to operate.- Smaller than I expected it to be. Fairly unobtrusive.CONs:- There is a subtle problem that I'll try to describe. I have a dash cam that is powered through this adapter (connected to the orange USB-A port). I also have a cell phone connected to the USB-C port. When I disconnect my phone from the USB-C cable, the orange USB-A port loses power momentarily. This causes my dash cam to power cycle and reboot. This is very annoying, since I want my dash cam to stay on all the time.- Oddly, if I connect my dash cam to the blue USB-A port, the above problem does not happen.Overall, I like this little gizmo, because it lets me listen to podcasts through the normal car radio. Recommended!
